The flowers we use in our wonderful bouquets come to us fresh from the grower. This short supply chain results not only in a more sustainable product but also for flowers that retain their freshness even longer and look beautiful longer in a vase. We work with our suppliers in a transparent way and know the origins of our products. We also know exactly where the other materials we use come from and how they were produced. We choose our growers and other suppliers with the greatest of care. Everything is as fresh as can be, sustainable, and intended to minimise waste and leave a neutral carbon footprint. All this is also reflected in the certificates we have obtained. These include: ISO 9001:2015 + ISO 14001:2015 + Global G.A.P CoC + GGN label + FSC + MPS Florimark trade + Fairtrade + Amfori BSCI. We have also been affiliated since 2019 with the Floriculture Sustainability Initiative (FSI).
Obviously, it is absolutely essential to arrange the flowers properly in the vase. Our flowers will remain beautiful longest when you cut off a substantial piece of each stem at an angle, remove the lowest leaves, fill a clean vase about ¾ full with fresh water, and then add flower food. Refresh the water on a regular basis. When you do this, you don’t have to add new flower food. Also make sure that the flowers are not placed in full sun, in a draughty location, and also not too close to a filled fruit bowl. You can simply remove any flowers that are less attractive after a while and then rearrange your bouquet. This way, you can enjoy your bouquet even longer.
